Raid System Changed, Colru Dropped As A Guild Raid

It has come to my attention that Raids are taking WAY too long in terms of preparation and execution.
Therefore, WeTheProud will be configuring a few Raid systematic changes starting now:

1. Delayers will now be kicked:  As I stated before, Raids are first come first serve.  Those who take too long in joining the party, or deliberately going AFK to go about other activities will be kicked.  Just get in the party, finish up, and leave so that everyone can do it accordingly.  If you do have an important task please inform your host immediately about what you need to do.  That way we can setup the raid at a later time to fit everyone's schedule.  This, I will tolerate, but if the user just takes too long, the user will be dropped.

2. Open Parties:  This message concerns hosters primarily.  If your party is having numerous extensions and problems in forming a full party, either run the raid as a guild in a smaller group, or if in dire need of more firepower, invite outside friends/pugs.  The goal here is to maintain a guild activity of 1-3 raids per day.  This will allow us to maintain our rank and slots available.  However, for easier and smaller raids like Thor and Controlled Black Hammer (Betrayal), these raids can be duo-ed (Refer to our Youtube Thor Duo/Titan Trio video), so still try to refrain from inviting pugs.

3. Class Balance/ Equipment Changes: In all raids, we require a certain number of each race depending on the party's total firepower.  If the party is suffering from underpowered Attack or poor defense (1-shot lanns), then the party members will have no choice, but to upgrade or switch party members between other hosters.
Also, be smart about your raids.  SPEAR LANNS CANNOT DODGE IN GLAS.  ONLY BRING SPEARS IF YOU CAN TANK WITH HIGH DEFENSE (8K-9K DEFENSE).  Overall, the party should be able to determine what level, gear, status, each person is holding, so if the party is sufficient in terms of firepower, go ahead and execute the raid in free style.  However, if there are too many for ex. Lanns, we will need to require those lanns to bring Swords.
Transformation is also another crucial element.  For the harder raids, (Glas/Colru) it is almost required to bring transformation if you have poor gear because the party will take 30 minutes to an hour to finish.

4. Colru Dropped As A Guild Raid: Unfortunately, it has been decided that Colru is to be dropped altogether as a guild raid.  The raid takes way too long to setup, has an extremely disturbing party member requirement of 8, and the drops are not worth the time and effort (Who wants to spend decades trying to earn 5m).  The attack/defense requirement is also way too high as the resource cost is about twice as much as doing a regular Glas run.

5. Leftover Raids with Leftover Time:  If the party has finished the raid early enough to have extra spare time, by all means go ahead and run ANY RAID you want, including colru.  The point here is to maintain our Guild Rank specifically so that we can keep our Free Slots, and expand further into the Vindictus Community.  After a few study sessions, it's been determined that the majority of our guild rank comprises of our member numbers and levels.  Raids are only used to maintain guild ranks, so 1 raid a day is the bare necessity.

2 Essential Guild Raid Terms/Strategies EVERYONE needs to know:

1. Transaturate: (Derived from the pun of combining transformation and saturation (SC2))
In ANY raid such as Glas, the party will have a time gap to execute a full on transformation.  During this time, through damage study and nerd charts, it's been confirmed that parties that execute ALL transformation at the same time, will be able to saturate the MOST damage out of their transformations.  For example, a party that has 8 people transforming at the same time, rather than a party that has 3 people transforming, then 2, and another 3 transforming in different intervals, will saturate the MOST damage.  The reasoning behind this is due to the knockback rates of the boss being tremendously higher for parties that execute full-on transformations.
So, if Zokku or your hoster mentions Transaturate, be PREPARED TO TRANSFORM.  If you do not have transformation, please inform us immediately.

2. Evie RG Down the list, etc.: (Specifically for Colru) RG Chains are the MOST powerful SP chain in all of Vindictus strategies.  The reason behind this is not because of the numerous RGs, but the huge time gap that gives lanns, fionas, and karoks the ability to use full on DPS.  In colru during the 4 golem stage, try to save an RG for the main colru, so that chains will be able to be executed.
Normally an Evie RG Chain is commenced by going down the list. So for example if the list looks like:

Hello ladies and gentlemen your lovely Z here featuring you all the 3rd ANNUAL GUILD EVENT SERIES!!!
Now as many of you oldies out there, senior veterans who have been herewith us since summer, we have not held a guild event in about...6 months...but in any case, WeTheProud will bring you 3 for 3rd annual easy, relaxing, sanguine, enjoyable, -hiddentextpainful-, happy, and glorious guild events that you may participate in!

1. 20 Questions Zolo Style (Double or Nothing Baby)
-This is one of the more feasible and relaxing events, just sit back in your chair and glare at that guild chat.  This is how it works:
Zokku will state a price and ask a certain question, "For 500k, What is my favorite color?"
The first person to answer "P***" in guild chat will win the money!  But wait!  There's a secret catch,
"D-D-DOUBLE DOWN"
The player who wins will be allowed to throw up the money and double it's size.  However, if another person answers the next question, that prize pool will be stolen from him!
For ex.,
Zokku: For 500,000 gold, What is my favorite color?
User 1: Pink!
Zokku: Congratulations! Double Down or Stay?
User 1: Double Down!
Zokku: Okay we have a double down! For 1,000,000 gold What is the guild channel?
User 2: 132!
User 1: 132!
Zokku: Oh User 2 has stolen the pot! Will you Double Down or Stay?
User 2: Stay! (This user will be COD'd the money, and can NO LONGER participate for the round)

2. +15 or Go Home!
-Ever hear that saying, "+15 or Go Home!"
Well looks like for this event, we're going to be testing the luck of you players out there...
Zokku will distribute noob weapons to everybody and a certain amount of gold....
The player to reach the highest enhance level will win a Very nice Reward!

P.S-I will be distributing a small amount of gold, if you try to cheat and burn your own money, I guarantee the prize will not make up for it ^_^

3.  Raider's Gamble

Today, you all experienced a small taste of it in glas!  Well time to step it up a notch and go all out!
We will be executing a series of raids:

Glas
Colru
Thor
Lionotus

The person to deal the most damage or survive the longest in each raid will earn a very nice prize!

(Prizes will not be disclosed, but I guarantee you will be satisfied)

Event is planned to be: This weekend Feb. 24-26 or Next weekend.

Zokku has the prerogative to change this post at any time.

Monster Brawl

Monster Brawl is a monster rodeo PvP scenario. Both teams will have a monster to protect. It's your job to kill the other team's monster while keeping your own alive! The first team to slaughter the other's monster wins!

The Mystery of Snowman Delight

If anyone doesn't know, the recent christmas item Snowman Delight is very useful as a general buff.

It is extremely cheap to make, (Cost me about 10k to make 400), and provides an awesome 3 STA REGEN Per SECOND buff.  Lasts 20 minutes in-town, and in-missions.  Also, it can be stacked with Berserker Enchant, so that gives 5 STA REGEN TOTAL.

A very useful buff that I highly recommend for all classes out there, a mandatory for soloists.

Guild Bug Glitch (YOU WERE NOT KICKED!)|Guild Raids Canceled for the Evening!

Apparently today, the social chat/guild system went kaboom and people are thinking they got kicked.

I assure you, this problem lies entirely with the servers.  There has been no kicking!

Our numbers are still the same, so do not worry about the bug, it will be fixed.

As a result of the SQL Error (Guild Home),

we will be canceling Guild Raids for today.

I need to start updating little by little more...instead of these huge fat posts.  Anyways, Zmon the Digger here! Aside from the GL reference, this time I thought I'd pick up a little more dirt in Nexon.  About half of this info is quite old, and I never got to share it with you guys, so here it is.

Hacking Spree is Back!

About a few days ago, a huge mass of players who followed Nexon's advice in changing their passwords had their accounts compromised.  Before we rage at Nexon for giving us the wrong advice, I'd like for many of you to take a look at this humorous, yet useful comic that explains an easy method to securing your account.

Atm, I believe these hackers are unable to go through SQL injections.  Instead, I believe the reason most people are losing their accounts are due to short handed, easy passwords, and also the fact that there is some kind of Packet trap hack hidden in Nexon's database.  For ex., a hacker will only be able to receive the new packet of password changed if he planted some kind of "bomb" or "transmitter" inside Nexon's usb drive.  I could (and probably am) totally wrong about this, but I don't see why somebody's account would get hacked as SOON as they change their pw.  Very suspicious indeed, no word from Nexon, tons of connection problems still remaining, no GM to be found in forums, and Dragon Cestus is out as a  bug.

I've been looking for this comic for a long time, but finally I was able to obtain it through some troll in the forums.

In short, the point is to make a password such as "ilovezokkuforever" instead of "l33th4x0r".  Reason being the combinations of words have a higher Password # count.  Hence, the more letters there are in your pw with variety, the more secure your password is.

P.S-Don't really make your password ilovezokkuforever.
 Make it "ilovezokkuforeverANDEVER"

So this is Devcat 2 YEARS AGO.  THIS, is basically their ENTIRE planning staff.

Dragon Story stolen from a random Fan Forumer

Well it looks like Nexon may have redefined "plagiarism".

I know DevCat was rushing for this updates and release it in summer time, but this time I am quite disappointed about the conduct of this developing team.. 

The article basically says Nexon had stolen a Forumer's fan story of Dragon and implemented it into the game.  Although this may have looked like an exciting opportunity, this dirt for Nexon had been released all over the media, holding Nexon liable for damages.  The forumer will be compensated tremendously for the mishap (Personally, I would have sued Nexon, this is a breach of personal property and copyright laws.  All the cash that Nexon has made through Dragon could have been stolen by that one forumer, potentially a few million dollars)

Basically, the norm for Kai is 18k Attack.  I haven't seen his defense, but I can imagine due to light armor he's going to get a buff in Defense perhaps?
