Voice Chat WTP: Dolby Axon

Hey guys, so we're going to be beta testing a voice chat for our community.
Please give feedback based on whether you would prefer this or scribblar as a voice chat.

Dolby Axon features a Surround Voice system where you can move your icon and base your volume for what location you are positioned in.  Personally, I dislike this feature, so you may disable it any time by going to Audio Options and setting your tab to Mono.

Dolby Axon also features a Push to Talk or On/Off microphone option.  Bind the push to talk based on the keys shown in the top bar.  For the on/off mic option, simply bind your mute function to a certain key.  Then, you can turn on and off your microphone when desired.

Set your profile name by going to your main hud, Edit --> Profile

When exiting the program, click Step away or logout.  Do not click Leave Chat, this will permanently remove you from the group and you will have to be privately re-invited.

Season 2 Released! Vella Release Date

Here's the main changes and awesome updates of Season 2
Season 2 will officially be released in Korea August 2

1. Jump- Players will now be able to attack and jump just like in XE version
2. Areas- Areas are much more wider and less linear, it's like a whole new adventure!
3. Level 80 cap- Players will now be able to cap at level 80

Vella will be released in Korea August 9~!

WeTheKai Merge Approximation

Hello members of WTP, here's the schedule for the merge.

After a bit of pondering, it has been decided that WTK will merge back into WTP within July and the first week of August.  Players who do not have any alts in the guild are allowed to add their Kai into WTP if they wish to do so.  However, players who already have an alt in WTP will need to either kick their current alt, or swap their Kai with their main.  

In order to make this process easier please follow these directions:

START NOW!  Don't wait until the first week of August where WTK will be disbanded!
After the disband, WTP will no longer be accepting alts.

"I do not have an Alternate Character in WTP, but I wish to add my Kai"

-Apply with your Kai, but mention in your intro who you are.  State your Main IGN and also put some mention of your reason such as, "This is my first Alt in WTP"

Example: "My main is Zokku. This is my first Alternate Character"

"I have an Alternate Character in WTP, but I wish to swap it with my Kai"

-Apply with your Kai, but mention in your intro who you are.  State your Main IGN and also your Alternate Character's name.  This way, we will be able to recognize who your alt is.

Example: "My main is Zokku. My alt is LaysBBQChips"

Z or an admin will kick LaysBBQChips and add your Kai.

"I wish to make Kai my main and will not use my previous main or my alt"

-Apply with your Kai, but mention in your intro who you are.  Either state your previous main's name and your alt, or simply leave the guild with your previous main and alt.

Example: "My main used to be Zokku, my alt is Lays BBQChips.  I am maining this Kai"

WeTheKai

Just a quick reminders to all our members:

Upon the official release of Kai, Z will be making an alternate guild called WeTheKai(Based on votes)
The guild will feature as a side branch of WeTheProud and simply be a guild of alternate characters.
As many of you already know, WeTheProud has hit its cap on members and as a result, we were forced to create another guild to accommodate all Kais.

WeTheKai will only be up for a few days or weeks.  This guild is primarily to sortie out those who wish to main Kai and for those who wish to play him for a few minutes.
If the player wishes to main Kai, then by all means add the Kai to WeTheProud.
However, WeTheProud will no longer be accepting Alternate characters due to member cap.

Once the process has been finished, WeTheKai will be disbanded in order to avoid any future confusion.  When WeTheProud receives the long due Guild Update, then Alternate characters will be allowed in WeTheProud.

Vella/Bella Season 2 Dual Blades, New Cycle Mission System

New Character in Season 2 (Vella/Bella.  In KR it is V because the Korean language does not have the affirmative B sound in Bella.  Hence, that is why Koreans use Vella in English term)

Season 2 will feature a new character, Vella who is a Dual Sword wielder as seen in the picture above.  Vella may seem similar to Lann, but her gameplay style will feature new moves and will be totally different from Lann.  The only similarity is her weapon choice, which features the same weapons as Lann.  Many fans have requested for a female lann (As seen by SUN in April Fools), and so their wishes have been fulfilled.

Weapon - Dual Sword
2nd weapon - Unknown
Specialty - Fast attack with counteroffensive
Survival skill - dodge, counteroffense
Counteroffense- Difficult to pull off
Control requires - Similar control as Lann, but survival is much more easier.
Design concept - Sexy and charming
Personality - cikh, proud (Haughty/ Stuck-up/ Arrogant)

Vella will be released in the future for Season 2.  There is no speculation for the release.
Vella was actually mentioned (Hinted) in new NPC dialog.

If you have exactly 401gold, and talk to the strange traveler, he hints about the Vella.

Vella's personality is somewhat haughty, arrogant, and conceited.  Therefore, the staff had to use several movie star personas in order to portray a correct personality.

Vella's survival is special in comparison to Lann.

When a mob attacks her, she will be able to use a certain CounterAttack that nullifies any damage to her, and instead the damage is reflected towards the mob.  When the damage is reflected, she will be able to dodge away from the mob.
Vella has a choice in either dodging or counterattacking.  It is much easier to counterattack when dodging because you're given time to commit damage at the same time.

Vella's project was launched in the same development time as Kai, which was 2011.

Many fans requested for a female Lann character, and so their wishes were granted.  However, the devs promise that they will try to differentiate Lann from Vella by the smashes, animations, and overall gameplay feel.

Introducing Season2 Battle cycle system

As most players already know Season 2 will feature a new possibility for players to explore islands and dungeons.  However, the devs wished to grant a more unique gameplay in dungeons.  Hence, the new Battle Cycle system was introduced.

In Season 1, when the player kills a boss, the dungeon ends.

In Season 2, the mission will continue after killing the boss and players will be able to roam throughout the map for different objective purposes.

The main goal of this system is to allow players to have more objectives in dungeons and overall enhance the communication between players in parties.

3 New Systems are introduced:

First, [Macha's test]

In the middle of the battle, by chance a puzzle event will start and you must clear the objective before the time runs out.
It will give a special reward if the players clear it.

There are multiple kinds of [Macha's Test]
For example, you must eliminate every mob spawned in time to clear,
or the test by colours, and hunt down the running mobs and so on.
We are still in progress and will have more tests.

Second, [Pirate's Treasures] is
Players that finish a map battle will be rewarded their prizes through a Chest.  However, the player will not be granted the prize until the player finds the Chest in the battle.  Accessories and other special items will be obtained if the player does find the Chest.

Third, [Morrighan's Altar] is
When playing [Morrighan's Altar], placing 'Morrighan's holy water'(...) at the Alter will give players a very helpful buff when fighting Bosses.
The buffs will be random.

All systems can collide into one map.

This means that while playing Macha's Test, the player can still be introduced to Morrighan's Holy Water, which is used for Morrighan's Alter.  The assortment of these systems will be random, so players will always have new goals and fresh gameplay throughout dungeons.

The theme to Season 2 is Adventure.

24 Man Guild Raids Exclusive Launch | Preparation for Kai "WeTheKai"

Here's the latest changes for WeTheProud Community.

1. Guild Event: Scavenger Hunt! 1st place 100m, 2nd place 50m, 3rd place 25m.

2. 24 Man Guild Raids- It's been decided that Guild Raids will no longer focus on the Daily 8 mans, but will now comprise of the 24 Man Raids that are 3 times a week.  I believe that this will help the community transition from our small capacity to a larger and more fun sized number.  No longer will people have to worry about fitting a specific time schedule with a hoster, but now players can join a 24 man with Guild members at a specific time.  Members will no longer have to worry about Stats as 24 mans will most likely be successful with full Guild participation.  Also, this puts much less pressure on the Hosters because now, the guild will no longer need Dedicated hosters, saving resources and the effort of those who have done so.
I believe this is also a necessity as members need to find a common grounds to gather together as a guild and  find a reason to raid.  Without this form of unity, there is really no point in joining a guild.  This is also another benefit to publicizing the name of WeTheProud, as pugs who join will be able to see the efforts and unity of our community.

On another note, this does not mean WTP will stop hosting 8 mans.  If the hoster is available or if members wish to do a certain raid with enough players, then of course we will do so.  However, this is to notify members that we will not have a dedicated schedule with a dedicated time.  Worst case scenario, if nobody wishes to do a certain raid or if everybody has already done so for the day, that member will have to just pug it.  Otherwise, please refer to the Hoster list on the right and ask if anybody wishes to join them on the requested raids.

New Schedule:
Wednesday- 24 Man Raid "Elchulus"- These Tears are still worth 200-300m, very expensive.
Saturday- 24 Man Raid "Siglint"- Easier to accomplish with a unified guild, and drop is still about 50-100m.

For now, we will stick with doing One 24 man raid on these days.  If members wish to do more, we can do all 3 24 mans or just stick to 1.  The type of raids such as Elchulus, Siglint, Beokros are all subject to change.  Once again, this is all in experimentation to fit the gaming schedule of the community.

3. Preparation for Kai - Unfortunately, WeTheProud has reached max capacity for members and I know that everyone is going to be on their Kais first thing.  However, I do also believe that not everyone is going to stay on their Kais for more than a week, so I believe the best course of action to pursue in unifying our Kais is to make an additional guild.  The guild will have the name "WeTheKai" as voted by members and it is mainly easy to recognize as a branch of WeTheProud.  Once the Kai "trend" is over, I will let in any members who decide to main Kai into WeTheProud.  However, once everyone is done with their Kais, I will disband WeTheKai unless members wish to keep the name.

Welcome to WeTheProud's First Scavenger Hunt!
Time: This Friday, 6PM PST or 9PM CST

Introduction:
As many of you already know, a Scavenger Hunt comprises of gathering a few items in a list, and the first person to gather the items off the list wins the grand prize! Simple, sweet, and quite enjoyable if strategy is used. Players are expected to run Dungeons, fight Bosses, and rip out their hairs in hopes that they obtain the specific drop they need! There are strategies that will allow you to obtain items faster than others, but you must think how this is possible!  Hint: You're in a community for a reason!



Notes:
-The list of items to gather will be announced on the day of the Scavenger Hunt.
-All levels are allowed to participate.
-Zokku will try to keep the items below a certain level in order to accommodate for those who cannot run high level boat missions.
-The items will exclude any rare items that are found in a Raid.
-The items will depend on what level the players are and the # of total people participating.
-ALL METHODS of obtaining these items are allowed, EXCEPT buying off marketplace.  I will check to see if the items are tradeable or not to determine whether they were bought off MP, so don't even think about it!  

Prize Pool:
1st Place Grand Prize: 100,000,000 Gold
2nd Place Prize: 50,000,000 Gold

Get An Early Gameplay For Kai! (Vindictus Chinese)

Hey guys, so I wanted to see what's so great about Kai and I resorted to the XE Chinese Version.


Game Execution:
It's a simple process that takes no longer than 1-2 hours depending on your internet connection.
Chinese can be translated into English with a patch, so you can enjoy the game in English.

1. Download the Chinese Client

2. Register for an ID
(You need a Chinese ID Number, which just google Chinese ID Number and look for one.  You also need the name of the person, so be sure to grab that)
3. Patch the client
Note: I had this problem where the client kept looping itself with a certain file.  In order to fix this, go to C:/Program Files (x86)/TianCity/yourvindictusfolderstuff and then look for Currentinfo.txt
Delete everything in there and paste this in there

Save, close and launch the game.

4. You will get a HUD launcher.  First, click the server you want with the bottom left Button.  Select the server with most bars.
5. Punch in your info and then click the fat Orange button to the right.
