Great Job Everyone on our Last Guild Picture! (Hopefully)

We've reached a milestone, people are finally dressed.

Scheduled Guild Picture (The Last One...hopefully)

It has been decided that there is a need for a new guild picture.  Although we have recently taken one by complete coincidence, this time we hope to include all of the guild members.  Unfortunately many will not be able to make it, so it is in conclusion that we will schedule a GUILD PICTURE ON FRIDAY (June 10). In the meantime, please take a few minutes to visit us, and just be aware that on this day, we will have a guild picture.  We hope to gather as many members around..10 am-8pm (PST, California) and formally, take a picture that doesn't include half of us naked.  <------

Meeting place will be the Guild Channel 99, at the campfire (We will not be taking the picture at the campfire, this is just a meeting place so we may move as one big group).  Most likely the location will be either Rocheste, or any place that is unique to all.

Also, it would be greatly appreciated if anyone would like to volunteer as an HTML expert.  We are also looking for a Graphics Designer or anyone who's generally an expert with PHOTOSHOP.  Of course, I will pay you for your time and efforts.  This is to re-create our blogspot and hopefully turn our banner, into something more intricate.  Thank you~

It's official. We're heading up the ladder at a rapid pace, and we've even dismantled a 1 man guild to join us.
Ch.99 is our channel.
This is our property.
This is our game.

As we expand even further, what will future plans hold for us? Well, look forward to the following:
-Our 1st Guild Contest (Still in thought, who can recruit the most?)
-Scrimmage (Guild vs. Guild PVP when it comes out)
-30 man Guild Raid (Our Ultimate Guild Raid when it comes out!)
-Our Next Admins (I believe having 4-5 will be sufficient for our current number)
-Blogspot evolves into Forums.  (If there's a demand, we'll take it)

*As a casual notion, whenever members host small runs or dailies, please try to run as much as possible with ONLY guild members, as this will significantly increase our guild Exp. and further expand our guild.  Having 1 non-member/pub will cancel the guild exp.  (These are the rules set by Nexon)

As WeTheProud, we promote an absolute positive environment that gamers can enjoy to their maximum potential.  Remember, if you have any questions or require assistance, feel free to address our Admins and other members.  We will never force members to do anything as all of our work and responsibility is voluntary to create a perfect atmosphere for our members. A Hacker has appeared! What will Player do?

Aside from the pokemon reference, it seems that an infamous hacker has been caught in our mass wave recruit.  However, he has been quarantined and kicked within the few minutes he has been discovered.  As this serves as good practice for our admins, please be cautious of future hackers and trolls who intend to cause harm to our guild.  In an explanatory note, hackers are to be IMMEDIATELY kicked from the guild because not only will this serve as a bad reputation, but innocent players will be caught in an innocent wave ban.  (Ex. incident with the guild Apocalypse, 1 hacker, half of the guild members were banned).

In order to avoid future waves of innocent bans, you may follow these instructions to help prevent hackers' console from reorganizing the script of your config.cfg

1. Go to your vindictus folder C:/Nexon

2. Open CFG folder

3. Right click config.cfg for properties

4. Check "Read Only"

5. Close

This procedure has been approved by the forums community of Nexon and it has ensured that those who utilize this may increase their chances of not receiving an innocent ban.

For those of you who are unable to identify scenarios of hacking, common situations include

1. Teleportation/Rapid speed movement

2. Instant Boss Kill with overkill of 99999999...

3. Golden Balls fly from the boss doing instant kill (This is most common in hackers because they believe using the physics engine script based on the environment will not attach to their log.  However, their mistake is that error reports are often recorded in config.cfg, even if Nexon will not see the Player has committed an instant kill by CLIENTSIDE, they still will see the Time for the raid boss.)

Generally speaking, hacks are morally indecisive and NOT worth utilizing.  It affects the community of vindictus and most importantly our guild.  I have been studying console and source engine for the past 7 years (Hardcore CS/tf2/portal/hl2/CSZ/CSS Fan), hence I know exactly what these hackers use and hide.

A New Horizon, Congratulations Hotori!

It has come to our consensus that Hotori would be our best candidate for the Admin position.  Therefore, Hotori has now become an Admin on unanimous vote, and we are looking forward to his diligence and commitment to the guild.

It is displeasing to notion that xxRickyxx has quit Vindictus or is altogether on temporary suspension.  As a result, our admin number has dropped to 2, and hence it is imperative I assess each and every new admin in a more pragmatic and empirical manner.  Being an Admin is generally a responsibility and a privilege to all.  For our current admins I have assigned several tasks which include
-Constant basis of Recruitment (Req. lvl 24+)
-Prioritize in aid for assists
-Inform those who have Q.'s about the game
-Maintain a relative reasonable activity
-Regulate demeanor and banhammer for trolls. (Have received few trolls +)
-Abet members in ANY form of activity that exclude missions (For misc.)

During this time I have begun to assign more administrative positions to members, but due to relative assessment in suggestions, progress has been halted.  However, as we are expanding at a rapid pace, I need more hands to assist me.

Be wary of "UU2BUU"

Recently after rambling through tons of threads with trolls, flames, and otakus I've come across several interesting problems that don't concern whiners.  Nope, in fact there happens to be an infamous hacker lurking around Vindictus named UU2BUU or something along this line that is able to hack into accounts, and transfer all items to his character, UU2BUU.  This is just a warning message to those who will encounter such an ign, "Please do not associate yourselves with this character as there are risks of dangerous implications".

Several flames have posted,
"UU2BUU has been able to keylog, scam in-game notifications, conceal his name in OUTBOX, and get info through email"
Because Nexon isn't doing anything about this hacker, please remain cautious on your own terms if you ever encounter this person.  Reason being, posting such a message is considered "Harassment against ToS in legal terms, and hence this is why I have posted it here".
