Apparently today, the social chat/guild system went kaboom and people are thinking they got kicked.

I assure you, this problem lies entirely with the servers.  There has been no kicking!

Our numbers are still the same, so do not worry about the bug, it will be fixed.

I need to start updating little by little more...instead of these huge fat posts.  Anyways, Zmon the Digger here! Aside from the GL reference, this time I thought I'd pick up a little more dirt in Nexon.  About half of this info is quite old, and I never got to share it with you guys, so here it is.

Hacking Spree is Back!

About a few days ago, a huge mass of players who followed Nexon's advice in changing their passwords had their accounts compromised.  Before we rage at Nexon for giving us the wrong advice, I'd like for many of you to take a look at this humorous, yet useful comic that explains an easy method to securing your account.

Atm, I believe these hackers are unable to go through SQL injections.  Instead, I believe the reason most people are losing their accounts are due to short handed, easy passwords, and also the fact that there is some kind of Packet trap hack hidden in Nexon's database.  For ex., a hacker will only be able to receive the new packet of password changed if he planted some kind of "bomb" or "transmitter" inside Nexon's usb drive.  I could (and probably am) totally wrong about this, but I don't see why somebody's account would get hacked as SOON as they change their pw.  Very suspicious indeed, no word from Nexon, tons of connection problems still remaining, no GM to be found in forums, and Dragon Cestus is out as a  bug.

I've been looking for this comic for a long time, but finally I was able to obtain it through some troll in the forums.

In short, the point is to make a password such as "ilovezokkuforever" instead of "l33th4x0r".  Reason being the combinations of words have a higher Password # count.  Hence, the more letters there are in your pw with variety, the more secure your password is.

P.S-Don't really make your password ilovezokkuforever.
 Make it "ilovezokkuforeverANDEVER"

Dragon Story stolen from a random Fan Forumer

Remember when your elementary school teacher told you not to plagiarize? 

Well it looks like Nexon may have redefined "plagiarism".

I know DevCat was rushing for this updates and release it in summer time, but this time I am quite disappointed about the conduct of this developing team.. 

The article basically says Nexon had stolen a Forumer's fan story of Dragon and implemented it into the game.  Although this may have looked like an exciting opportunity, this dirt for Nexon had been released all over the media, holding Nexon liable for damages.  The forumer will be compensated tremendously for the mishap (Personally, I would have sued Nexon, this is a breach of personal property and copyright laws.  All the cash that Nexon has made through Dragon could have been stolen by that one forumer, potentially a few million dollars)

Basically, the norm for Kai is 18k Attack.  I haven't seen his defense, but I can imagine due to light armor he's going to get a buff in Defense perhaps?  

"Cannot connect to the game" HShield Fix|Christmas Tickets Destructable

Go to to your C:/Nexon/Vindictus/En-US Folder

Delete the "HShield" folder and replace it with this one:

Dragon Tears Set Price in KR (3x Drop rate Increase?)

It seems that Dragon Tears are set at 11m in KR, while Glas Ghabaisdlfsdfialsn Pants are 3.7m.
Considering the low database of players in KR, along with very few botters, we may be seeing a very nice price range for NA.
As KR's prices have been consistent with America, if we do a statistics analysis we may see these numbers in NA.

NA:
Glas Pants 14-18m
Colru Shiny Stone 5-10m
Dragon Tears 40-100m

KR:
Glas Pants (Rumored that Pants received a 3x Drop Rate Increase)-3.7m
Colru Shiny Stone 1m
Dragon Tears 11m

Scribblar Revamped (Creds to Phyrene)

So after some scripting problems, we finally got Scribblar to work for ALL browsers!!!!

Scribblar no longer has auto-sized dimensions, so the scribblar you have will look a bit bigger/smaller.
Currently phyrene is working on an auto-sized script so that will be fixed in due time.

Changelog:
-All gallery pics destroyed
-Room/Chat history destroyed
-Dimensions changed to 950x800
-Works for Firefox,IE, and Chrome (should work for others)
(I chose 950 to fit the banner dimensions)
