We've been thinking about this decision for a while, whether to remain casual/social in the game, or subject ourselves to become more "competitive". However, due to the social standing and activity of the guild, we have reached a consensus where taking a new path in becoming a Hardcore guild is applicable.
Therefore, it is to my greatest honor of pledging WeTheProud in becoming a competitive guild.
Starting with such, we will begin our path with three new official standings.
1. Official Dedicated Daily Raids + Random Trivial Prizes
In the beginning, we are hoping to assign daily raids, (This will comprise of only Colru/Glas as they are only worth doing for the drops, if others request and have time, other raids too, can be executed), but there will only be 1 hoster. If anyone would like to volunteer with hosting, we are interested in your patronage towards the guild.
On another note, to make Raids more twisted and exciting, we will begin implementing random prizes for random goals set in each Dedicated Raid. For ex. on a random day we will announce, HIGHEST DPS-100k.
Simply, anyone who obtains the highest DPS in the raid will be awarded a small prize of 100k. Or for example we can say, LEAST POTS-200k. The prize and condition will vary for each raid, and ALL of the prizes will be provided by the WTP staff. So, enjoy yourselves and aim for that prize ^^
2. Professional PVP Team.
As many other guilds out there have PVP teams, WTP will begin transitioning into creating its own Professional PVP Team. However, please take note Zokku will NOT be leading this sector, and in place Lizee/Sokks will be in charge. Lizee/Sokks has demonstrated enough practice and experience in battle, and has been chosen as the best candidate to lead the team. As a result, Lizee/Sokks will keep a roster for anyone who'd like to participate. Regardless of your level/gear, it IS possible for a 12k Scythe Evie to kill a 9k def/16k att Lann without a scratch. Also, do note that your battles may be recorded via YOUTUBE and even submitted to several Forums as a national competition.
3. New Administrative Position Open
Currently WeTheProud functions on Two active admins, Hotori and Lizee/Sokks. Manatsu is currently inactive due to work/school and will be unable to return for a while. Angelaeckert is semi-retired, and will support us from the curtains as our own sponsor for events/activities. Therefore, we believe it is necessary to implement a Third Administrative Position in order to successfully abet a smooth transition into the new ambition for WeTheProud. Now, as an administrator for WeTheProud, we expect Admins to maintain the guild by knowing your vicinity of what the current condition the guild is in, and ultimately evaluating scenarios and decisions based on your judgement. Administrator is a responsibility and privilege for one to delve further into the community and bear the burden of expanding our community in a thoughtful, mature, and secure manner. As you know, WeTheProud is broken into different branches of games, mainly Source, but this vicinity will only remain prioritized for Vindictus. We expect you to help and answer questions to all members of the community, prioritize the needs of others before yourself, and donate a portion of your time in meetings.
As of now, you maintain a crucial position to hover over the facade of the community and tightly observe the direction of the guild and its members. Expand your thinking of how you can contribute to the guild with all your power and raising it as if it were a nest of your own.
In a quick notepad, these are a few points we expect admins to maintain daily:
-Range of Activity (Depends on contribution/dependence for certain amenities)
-Judgement (Ability to analyze/Deal with scenarios)
-Patronage (Sacrifice/Dedication towards the guild as putting one's needs before others)
-Recruiting (Ability to recruit/realize what type of member WTP is looking for)
Note: For the PVP team, once we are officially ready to go with an 4-man/8-man team, we will distribute/demand at least +8-+12 weapons/gears as the PVP competition out there is fierce and in order to provide a slight advantage. We will also be participating in Guild PVP once the option is available.
Note: For the Raiding Sector, once we obtain a dedicated hoster, we will be creating an official Speed Run Team. This will comprise of the most skilled raiders in the guild, as well as fame and fortune.
Final Note: Your efforts will not go unrewarded as in total if you do participate in all, you may stand to earn from
100k-100mil prize money in the long run, just for participation.
Raiding Times: This is absolutely subject to change as we are unaware of who can host, and what time is feasible for everybody. Therefore, Zokku will begin implementing a survey to all, as well as posting a new Poll to the right (Please vote for the sake of information). Dates can range from weekdays to weekends at 1-7pm or 7pm to 10pm, etc.
Finally, our decision in transitioning from a social/casual guild to a competitive guild is to raise our activity and focus our sights as one guild. Once everyone is able to reach a consensus on what their goal is, I believe this will allow the community to further advance in its relationships and develop harmoniously with new members.
Once we have fully developed a solid community, we will then proceed to having a Member sweep for those inactive and that have fully moved on from Vindictus.
Throughout these events we will be promoting Recruiting, as we hope this will interest new/old members in returning to the Hack and Slash (L) game of Vindictus.
